How to Use

Mix a dime-sized amount of cleanser with a few drops of water in the palm of your hand to create a liquidy paste. Apply the mixture to your face and gently massage in a circular motion. Rinse with tepid water. Use morning and evening, and follow with your appropriate PRATIMA Face Essential Oil.

For additional exfoliation, continue to massage the cleanser and water mixture until the herbs have fully dried. Gently brush off and rinse any remaining cleanser with tepid water.

For red, irritated, inflamed or sunburned skin, mix cleanser with milk, in lieu of water, for a soothing and calming effect.

Care & Shelf Life

The pure powder form of this cleanser preserves the potency of the herbs. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture. Close the bottle tightly after each use. Since this formula contains no artificial preservatives, please use within 5-6 months.

Gentle Cleansing and Exfoliation

Have been using this on and off since the late 80s. As an acutely chemically sensitive person with very sensitive skin, this is a g/dsend. Love the ayurvedic scent. If you let it dry on your face it becomes a gentle exfoliant in between Pratima's masks.

The sensitive cleanser is nice. I have been using it for over a year. I have very sensitive skin and I have had no skin allergies or reactions with it. I am so grateful for all the products that Pratima creates, all natural! Thus, there are no side effects that other retail products have.

The perfect cleanser

I first learned about this product in 2018 when I was struggling with perioral dermatitis. It was the only cleanser I could use without irritating my face. I eventually graduated to Vata cleanser but I recently returned to this old standby when I had a laser peel. This and the Vata cleanser both effectively clean while gently exfoliating and keeping my skin beautiful. Forever grateful, Pratima.
